THE MAN WITH NO MANA

To the man with no mana……………

You bring great shame on our people, our whakapapa, our land, and our country.

You halve cast Maori, who gives the mighty Kiwis a bad name.

You claim great pride in your ancestry, yet you bring nothing but disgrace and shame.

You bring shame to our ancestral warriors, who were once revered and held in great esteem.

You take, and you steal from your own kind and from the white man.

Your greed, your ego, your laziness, and your sense of self-righteousness are your undoing, not the white man.

You take the privileges afforded to you, squander them, and then blame the white man.

You came to this land for a better life, for you and your whanau.

Yet you disgrace yourself; you disgrace your whanau.

You think the white man owes you something; he owes you nothing.

You want to live in the white man’s world and play the white man’s games, but you play without ethics or integrity, thinking the rules do not apply to you.

You live an existence of self-entitlement, assuming you are above the white man’s laws.

You blame the white man when you should look inside yourself. However, you are too cowardly for that.

You and you alone made your choices without the courage, foresight, or fortitude to take responsibility and accountability for your actions.

How can you hold your head high, look at your mokopuna knowing what you have done, with no regret, no remorse?

You have no pride, no dignity, no self-respect….. no mana.
